Songbird Says

Hear the song. Sing it back.

1 to 8 players · Free · No download

Songbird Says is a musical memory game in the spirit of Simon. The Lead Songbird performs a short melody of directional notes, one note longer every verse, and the whole flock repeats it back together. You replay blind, nobody is eliminated, and the bird with the fewest mistakes after the final verse wins.

How to play Songbird Says

  1. Listen to the melody. Each direction is its own note: up is a high chirp, down a low tone.
  2. Sing it back by tapping the D-pad in order (arrow keys or WASD on desktop).
  3. You replay blind: keep going until every note has a guess.
  4. Every wrong or missed note takes a bonk. Fewest bonks after 4 verses wins.
