Pair Pressure is a cooperative escape race for teams of two. You and your partner clear five stations together: toss orbs to raise winding paths over spikes, guess the safe platforms across an unlock bridge, slide across an icy grid dodging spike tiles, and dig through a rock wall together. White checkpoint lines save your progress, spikes send you back, and the fastest duo out wins with score shared between partners.
How to play Pair Pressure
- Move with the joystick through the first two stations. Every white line you cross is a checkpoint: spikes send you back to it, and you can never walk backward over it.
- Stand on the glowing station and drag to aim, then release to throw. A dotted arc and a landing ring show where the orb will come down, so line the ring up with the basket. Sink 3 to raise a winding path over the spikes.
- At the unlock bridge, each row has two platforms and one hides the safe path. Keep the joystick and walk onto the circle or square: standing on a platform is your pick. A wrong guess collapses the bridge and sends both of you back, so learn the pattern together and walk it to the top.
- Cross the ice grid with the D-pad: your avatar slides until a rock or wall stops it. Sliding into spikes restarts you at your entry tile. Both partners must reach the exit row.
- Press A then B to swing your shovels at the final rock wall. A steady, well-paced beat tears out bigger clumps of dirt and cracks the wall faster, and mashing the buttons is slower than keeping time. Dig together until the doorway of light opens and you escape.
Difficulty modes
- easy. Relaxed 4-minute run. All five stations with a generous clock.
- medium. Standard 3-minute escape. Crisp pacing, fair to first-timers.
- hard. Tight 2.5-minute cap. Smooth teamwork required throughout.

A wrong guess collapses the bridge and sends both partners back to the line, but you both learn that row, so working out the pattern together and walking it under the clock is the challenge.
